This high altitude coffee has crisp lime zest and bergamot flavors, with good acidity and a light, tea-like body. Makes an excellent pourover, and quite tasty for espresso!
Following a bushfire, the Suke Quto farm was started by Tesfaye Bekele out of an effort to reforest and conserve the surrounding area. He recruited growers to intersperse coffee and shade tree seedlings, and has over the years built an environmentally and economically sustainable source of income for his community. This coffee is RFA and Organic certified, and the costs associated with this certification are covered by Trabocca, our importing partner. This takes a large burden off of the producer, one of the many reasons we work with Trabocca.
