Adelmo grew up traveling with his father and brothers working as a picker, and distinctly remembers a time traveling to Huila that he realized running the family farm, Finca Chilcalozo, could bring him a better life. As commodity prices for coffee dropped many farmers in the Santa Rosa Indigenous Reserve turned to illicit crops. Adelmo refused, carrying on the tradition of coffee growing in Inzá and advocates for his neighbors to do the same.
Incredibly sweet, with pleasantly mild acidity. Look for caramel and marshmallow sweetness, and delicate lemon acidity.
