Intense strawberry notes, creamy, silky texture, and incredible caramel sweetness! This incredibly sweet and flavorful coffee shows how much the drying process can add to the experience.

Mayra's family has been involved in coffee for years, ever since she inherited Alto el Vapor from her father. She and her siblings were each given a plot, and at first she was disheartened by how remote her section was. As it happens, the high altitude on the remote peak makes the land ideal for growing coffee. For years they had aspired to one day establish their own wet mill to produce the highest quality coffee possible, as opposed to selling cherries to surrounding mills, often for little to no money. Her eldest daughter graduated from university in the height of the pandemic in 2020, and jobs were nowhere to be found. Her brother, a school teacher in the area, suggested the family come together and establish the Vamay micromill. We're thrilled to be able to support them, and to share this amazing coffee with you!
