Continuing our series from Cauca is from Finca el Palmar. Full bodied with fantastic acidity, this coffee has distinct lemonade and grapefruit notes!
We met José at the Best of Cauca competition in early August, where this coffee placed 5th out of the hundreds of coffees submitted. José grew up working in coffee, and now operates his own farm with help from his wife and three children, some of whom are grown and have their own farms as well. He hopes that his focus on high quality coffee inspires other growers in Inzá to do the same.
